Staying on the ground floor facing a noisy street like Drury Lane made it challenging to get a good night's rest due to constant disturbances. Despite being advertised as an upgrade, the room offered little to no difference, but it was comfortable with essential amenities like a TV, iron, and tea/coffee facilities. The staff were a mix of unapologetic and caring individuals, with one standout employee named Bruna who went above and beyond to assist with dietary issues. The location was convenient for exploring London, within easy reach of key attractions like Covent Garden and Leicester Square. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with a decent English breakfast but room for improvement in terms of variety and coffee availability. Overall, the hotel provided a no-frills stay with comfortable basics, but the noisy surroundings and mixed service slightly detracted from the experience.
